Some really positive momentum for my good friends Karl and Marie-Claire. Their band, Speck Mountain, is starting to get some really nice reception in the press. Matt Perpetua featured one of my favorite cuts, "Girl out West," over at Fluxblog, and word on the street is Manchester's Piccadilly Records will be featuring "Summer Above" as their record of the week sometime very soon. Also, they'll be touring with Honey Owens' excellent solo project, Valet, this summer. Don't miss their live show.
