Though their original moniker brought about a cease-and-desist from the
original Glimmer Twins, this Belgian DJ duo carries on-- albeit with a slightly truncated name. They cut their teeth early on in youth discos, starting with hip-hop and breaks, eventually branching out to disco and shiny pop tunes of the day. Like their countrymen, 2ManyDjs, the Glimmer's crates are deep and eclectic, but their sets shy away from the oft-garish mixes of the mashup movement. Instead, they focus on dead-solid party selections for a more discerning palate. This ethic is best seen in their exemplary Series Noire 2 DJ mix. Come, dance, expand your musical horizons, but just don't call them twins.
