QUIET ON THE EASTERN FRONT

Apologies for lack of posts. Been settling into a new job, and trying to enjoy the fact that it stays so light for so long. Very pleased to report that there is quite a lot of new music on the horizon. Been really enjoying a promo by a band called Motion Pictures ,which draws heavily on classic 60's psych/folk/pop. Really blissed out, relaxing music. Check out an interview on BBC Collective here. Also got the new Death in Vegas Fabric mix, and its absolutely fantastic. I've been on and on about how much i like the band for some time, but they've never really caught on stateside. Richard Fearless is also one of the best DJ's around for my money. He's always playing the best new minimal/ industrial/ leftfield stuff, mixed with the old acid sounds. I'll do my best to find his essential mix from Radio One from awhile back, so you can have a taste of it.
